Help is on hand for a New Year and a brand new you
Drake Circus is holding its popular Wellness Week from January 22, with health experts and fitness gurus on hand with the latest tips on getting in shape.
There will be free interactive events in the main atrium including eye tests and healthy living advice, beauty demonstrations and detox suggestions to help everyone feel great in 2018.
The week of wellness also includes free blood pressure and pulse checks, as well as advice on early stroke detection.
Drake Circus Centre Director Greg Lumley said: “This event has been getting more and more popular and it’s wonderful to be able to offer our shoppers a little bit of help and advice as they strive to get fit and feel great.
“During our Wellness Week experts will be on hand to give everyone top tips on everything from exercise to make-up.
“At this time of year, after the excesses of Christmas, we wanted to offer a helping hand to shoppers looking to have a happy, healthy and beautiful New Year.”
Members of Plymouth Argyle Football Club Community Trust will be using pedal power to make nutritious and delicious smoothies.
And there will be experts on hand giving free health, beauty, fitness and sustainable and accessible travel advice from Boots, Paul Shannon Personal Training, Livewell South West, Plymotion, Access Plymouth, Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics and the city’s Adrenalin Gym.
