The National Marine Aquarium hosts summer party for all the family

On Thursday 16th August, the National Marine Aquarium (NMA) is hosting an exclusive family party for little superheros and princesses.

The NMA is encouraging families to discover their alter egos and dress up as their favourite character for this year's Superhero and Princess summer party.

Kicking off at 6pm on Thursday 16 August, the after-hours event will have lots of fun family activities planned for all to enjoy. Visitors can expect to find children’s face painting, cupcake decorating, themed arts and crafts and a new soft play area. Guests can also look forward to a special show, VIP appearances and take part in the fancy dress competition to win a prize.

Victoria Spurdle, Functions and Events Manager at the National Marine Aquarium said: “Following the success of last years event, we are excited to bring back our Superhero and Princess summer party. We have a wide range of activities this year for all the family to enjoy, including our exciting new soft play area. I would encourage anyone thinking of coming along to book in advance, as it’s set to be a sell-out event!”

If you fancy yourself as the next Batman and Robin, or want to dress-up pretty in pink, or even disguise yourself as an evil villain, this party is for you!

Tickets cost £10 for children and £2 for adults and children under three and carers go free. To book, please visit www.national-aquarium.co.uk or call 0844 893 7938.
